The FCC has approved the W712a and Z712a clamshells, which are both GSM/EDGE devices. Both design and feature wise the two phones are almost the same as the officially announced W710 and Z710 with the only really visible difference being the retractable antennas. The W712a belongs to the Walkman series and thus it is a music phone. Both phones support 2-megapixel cameras, rich multimedia playback capabilities, FM Radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and Memory Stick Micro (M2) slots.
