Good short term phone

i had this phone for over a year; i bought it in august 07 for around £70 ( i think!! )
i had the lime green colour and it was a really cute phone and i liked the design of it, although it was quite chunky.
the camera was rubbish but it was meant to be a music phone and the walkman features  worked well.
the external display was useful but would have been nicer in colour!  the main screen was quite small aswell.
unlike other people i quite liked the keys! but the text used throughout the phone looks quite old, big, pixelly etc but thats probably just my personal opinion and no one else may have a problem with it!
other features were good and overall it was a good phone for the price paid but i wouldnt have it for life!

3 Year's old and still works well

I purchased this in May 2006 as an unlocked phone in Russia - In fact I believe it was not available in the UK at that time so I had something different. I have rated it's features according to what was available in 2006. Some reviewers have clearly purchased much later. My main point about this phone is that it has never let me down. I fancy a new phone but find it hard to justify as this one works perfectly well. Many modern phones have a lot of features, but this often means needing to charge the phone more often. It has even held it's charge when skiing in -20 degrees C whereas my previous Siemens would go flat very quickly in these temperatures even without using it.


OK so the camera is rubbish - I have a good digital camera! The music player is fine though I would prefer a port for a headphone jack as the connection shared for charging and syncronising can be now be a little iffy at times - and requires a bit of a wriggle. Nevertheless I have been very pleased with it and must say it has turned out to be a good buy - far more so than previous phones. That said, my Motorola never let me down until I put it in the washing machine!


Price paid approx 9000 Russian roubles (about 180GBP)





Excellent battery, even after 3 years. Compact and good build quality

It is probably too late to save anyone from purchasing one of these. The big problem is the key design. They actually overlap so it is very easy to hit the wrong one. A real pain for entering numbers! The camera and speakerphone are no good either! JUNK
