Sony Ericsson ‘Paris’ is the next high-end smartphone?

advertisment:
Last week, leaked the first information on what was called the ‘Paris’. We were skeptics as the source said they have an official video, yet will publish only one image (screenshot). Coming from a video, it was blurry and looked as one that could have been faked.

Now, another Sony Ericsson fan site published second picture of the same device, so things are getting serious.

According to the sources, Paris P5 will be the next big thing for Sony Ericsson: a stylish Symbian UIQ3.3 smartphone with flush mirror-like front and metal back. Below the touch display, there is only a small D-pad, but once the phone is slid open, it reveals a P1-like hybrid QWERTY keyboard.

The Paris is not only about looks, it is also about features. As other UIQ3.3 phones will come preloaded with Opera 9.5 browser, which should run great using 3G HSDPA or WIFi as data source. It also has built-in GPS and will come factory loaded with Google Maps and probably WayFinder 7.

I agree i am a true fan of SE.
Back when i had T-mobile i spent $480 for an unlocked S700i, which was AWESOME, but eventually the black version (S710a) came out for Cingular and i spent another $300 to switch over and buy the phone because i loved it so much.
Eventually both phones were broken due to my FRUSTRATION with the service, so I gave up on havein a nice phone and switched to VZW....i've never broken a VZW phone lol

LOL!!
That is the way I feel right about now with T-Mobile.. Seriously, can a carrier drop any more calls as T-Mobile does,, cheeesh!!!

I wish I had stayed with AT&T or VZW, but from what I see, the best cool phones are finally going to arrived on both carriers, so very soon I will making my mind about which one to go with..

As for this phone, if it turns out to be another 5meg pixel camera phone, more likely ATT won't get it.. In case we have not noticed, phones have been limited to about 3 megapix or less in the USA unless you get an unlocked phone..
