advertisment:
T-Mobile and Sony Ericsson have introduced the Equinox. This flip phone has pulsating light effects that can be customized by the user. And while that might turn a few heads, there is plenty of functionality in the phone. The 3.2 MP camera is equipped with digital zoom, video capture and playback over the included 2.2 inch display with resolution of 240 X 320 pixels. You will be able to keep in touch with your buds through email, SMS. MMS and IM support. Internet capabilities are provided by the carrier's web2go service and an M2 card slot allows for up to 8GB in additional memory to be added. The Equinox will give you 3G speeds with UMTS/HSDPA connectivity. An FM radio combines with the music player to give you entertainment when you need to wind down after a tough day. The Sony Ericsson Equinox will be available, starting October 28 for $49.99 with a 2 year contract and is exclusive to the carrier.

saw the sony rep recently and he was demoing the phone. its actually pretty damn nice. it has google maps on it with that program on it so you can see where your friends are (or track your phone if its stolen) its about as close to a smartphone as you can get and still be a regular flip phone. it can do a feed service very similar in scope to what the motoblur does for your myspace/facebook ect. the UI is smooth and nice. you would think its a much higher end phone than its price suggests. this is the new "go to" flip phone. if you want another flip phone at this price, id call u insaine. serious... its that good.
