Samsung reveals second Armani phone

The first Armani phone was unveiled last year, in order to compete with the PRADA by LG. Based on the P520, it was just another full touch phone, with 2.6" display and only a few hardware keys. It was part of the Giorgio Armani 'black label' line, which is used for the exclusive models. The first details on the second generation of Armani handset reveal that it will be part of the least-expensive Emporio Armani line and will be with more modest design language. The new phone is a slim candybar with 2.2" display and numeric keypad. Coming with the Night Effect name, it will feature blue LED around the d-pad and on its sides, creating illuminating effects. It is a quad-band GSM with HSDPA (probably only European 2100 MHz band), 3.2MP camera, microSD slot, FM radio and music player with dedicated keys. Emporio Armani Samsung Night Effect phone is expected to start shipping in Europe in November this year.

Yay for simple, practical design! Get rid of the GA status labeling and trendy, non-functional-enhancing led lighting and this (imho) would be a perfect phone. Pity it (or something similar) will never see the light of day at Sprint.
