The Ukrainian site technoportal.ua is reporting that on December 19th, Samsung has showcased a slew of new phones in the country. The interesting fact is that next to some already known devices, Samsung has showcased also the F490 and P720 which were yet unknown.

The Samsung P720 resembles the Giorgio Armani phone by its design and features (240x320 pixels display and 3-megapixel camera) but we are guessing it will come in a different color scheme and without the designer’s logo. The key feature of the P720 is the Dual-SIM card support, where both numbers are connected to a network at the same time. This makes it the second such device from major manufacturer, after the D880 DuoS. Its expected price is over $500.

Samsung F490 is similar in its look to the F700, with large touch sensitive display and almost no hardware keys. We guess it will have similar features and will also run on the Croix interface, but the only specification that the source gives is the 5-megapixel camera. The phone will hit the market in the first quarter of 2008 and the approximate price is going to be $600.
