Samsung U470 is music-phone for Verizon

Thanks to an anonymous source, we were provided with a picture and some details of the upcoming Samsung SCH-U470, which will be sold by
Verizon sometime in first half of 2008. This is Samsung's first entry into the Music Phone category, which has been dominated by the two LG Chocolate phones (VX8500, VX8550).




Even the silver scroll-wheel on the U470 looks surprisingly similar to the one used on the VX8550. The size and weight of the U470 was not provided, but by looking at the picture, it appears not to be as wide as the Chocolate, but will be taller. Unfortunately, the Display Resolution is limited to only 128x200 Pixels. The U470 also features a camera (we are unsure as to how many Mega-Pixels it will be), MicroSD Card Slot, Stereo Bluetooth, and also new FlashUI Themes.

With this phone, and the new LG VX8800 both coming out next year, we believe Samsung is a little late to the game.
