well, how many different ways can you make a touchscreen? you could make it a star shape.. not very functional or pocket friendly though! soon, im sure most phones will look similar exept for colors and features, as they move to touch screens.

You could design a touchscreen that has the time in giant letters, instead of the teeny ones that Samsung favors. Do they think people wear watches or something?

Yeah you can.
Look at Motorola's touchscreen phones. Besides the ROKR e6, they have a very original design, like the MING. Plus, LG first used the usual, glossy, simple look. It also was first to use that silver frame in the Viewty (right, iPhone?).

if you put time letters 2inch wide
where are you gonna everything else??
and then after.. ppl like are going to complain there not enough space for information and blabla...

This same phone in Korea(but called the 'Haptic'-youtube)has terestrial tv with a sneaky built in ariel. Think it's gonna be about £200... You can also download very cool sorfwear for it ...like when using the iphone you turn it, and the screen turns as well ...you can grab the latest 'shake' technology ...ya know, to shake to the next pic, or song. Getting mine tomorrow ...can't wait ;)
