Samsung SGH-E590 Review
Published on: 20 August, 2007 by PhoneArena Team
Performance:
No matter how much we like a phone as a multimedia device, it must perform well as a phone to get good ratings. The E590 shows average signal reception but very good sound quality. Both the incoming and outgoing sounds are with high volume and the voices sound very realistic, although with slightly decreased volume of the high-frequencies, which makes them slightly flat.
Conclusion:
The Samsung E590 has good idea, but not that good realization. We are disappointed that although it is positioned as a cameraphone, the interface has drawback (you can’t go back with the shutter key) and the quality is mediocre, due to weak auto white balance. Otherwise, the E590 is a decent small phone packed full of features but not doing really right its key one. Still, we may say that we like it.
Pros
- Small dimensions and light weight
- 3-megapixel camera with auto-focus and dedicated keys
- Very good call quality
Cons
- The camera-images quality is average
- Lacks flash for the camera
