Samsung Omnia 2 gets video previewed This article contains unofficial information.

Following yesterday’s news, a short video preview of what is said to be the Samsung Omnia 2 I8000 has just been published. The video confirms this is a Windows Mobile device, disguised with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. We can see that certain apps have not been personalized, like the Task Manager for example. However, there is a custom picture gallery that, typically for both WM and the TouchWiz interface, is rather sluggish. Finally, the 3D cube is available on screen, which we kind of like, because it really delivers some 3D experience.

That's because that software is just a release of a themed version of what the new updated OS. I also love at the end how the "Theme" crashes and you don't see any other real part of the phone besides the screen. Not news worthy for the fake OS over-layed on existing windows 6.1.

Why can't verizon (or anyone really) come out with a decent touchscreen smartphone that has a pulll out keyboard! Palm Pre has been the closest thing I have seen to the perfect design, but I am not on sprint.

TouchPro 2 is no match for Palm Pre for real, because I've seen the Pre and the TouchPro 2 mini review and Pre definitely wins on my case. Damn I wish the country I'm living in have Pre soon.
