Samsung INNOV8 spotted at FCC with US 3G support

The Samsung INNOV8 was spotted on the FCC's website, with dual-band UMTS (850/1900MHz) 3G, which are the US-friendly frequencies. Probably, Samsung will finally introduce its S60 powered cell phone to the American market, with full 3G support for AT&T. However, there is no official announcement, yet.

The i8510 INNOV8 is a slider phone and features 8 MP camera with auto focus, image stabilizer, video(VGA@30fps, QVGA@120fps), dual LED flash, a secondary video call camera, auto-panorama shot and face/smile/blink detection. Along with the mentioned top notch features, the INNOV8 also consists of Wi-Fi, a built-in GPS receiver, video player, video editing, music player, 3.5 mm audio jack, and TV out functionality. Check outs the review of the European version here.

I haven't really like Samsung either, but I recently obtained a Samsung Eternity, and I am using it now. I really really like it! The Touch Wiz on it is awesome, and the call quality and reception is actually really good. I have not been a fan of Samsung due to their reception and call quality, but I have to admit that this phone does a great job and I have had no issues up to this point.

funny the samsung rep said VZW was getting this device. maybe we are getting a variant of this, it would be a shame to see this go to ATT, I love good camera phones .

well at least vzw or att get cool looking phones, stupid sprint never jumps on hot devices like these, all sprint users should unite and demand something like this.

a shame? dude its originally a gsm phone. how would it be a shame? at best thats exactly what VZW would be getting is a variant. att doesnt even have a 5mp camera phone right now. so i dont see how it would be a shame.

it would be a shame since I dont have ATT and no one I know does either, so I wont be seeing this phone unless I am secret shopping the competition.

AT&T getting this phone is highly unlikely in my eyes.

It could go to ATT, if T-Mo gets their own 8MP camera phone.
