Nowadays it is really hard for the manufacturers to keep the information on a hot device before it is announced, and we often see the interesting models before they are officially announced, thanks to leaked photos and information.
This is probably the case with the new Samsung SGH-G800, which according to the rumor will be hi-end GSM cameraphone, featuring 5-megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom and Xenon flash, which should perform way better than the LEDs used in most phones. All this is hidden by a protective sliding cover when inactive, similar to some pocket cameras.
According to the preliminary info, the G800 will be tri-band GSM/EDGE phone supporting 3G HSDPA. It also features Bluetooth v2.0, USB 2.0 and microSD slot for memory expansion. The display will be 2.4” one with QVGA resolution and all this should fit in a pocket-friendly slider with dimensions of 4 x 2 x 0.66 inches (103 x 51 x 16.8 mm)
