Samsung Delve - a TouchWiz phone for Alltel This article contains unofficial information.

advertisment:
We've received unofficial but pretty solid information about the Samsung Delve (R800), a TouchWiz candybar phone. According to the source, Delve will be offered by Alltel, which will begin pre-selling it starting next Thursday, October 30. The phone is scheduled for a full launch a week later, on November 06. It will be priced at $250 after a two-year contract and a $100 mail-in rebate.

Features include:
  • 3" 240x400 touch screen
  • Dimensions of 4.57" x 2.17" x .48"
  • Full browsing capabilities
  • Click to see a large image.
    2-megapixel camera
  • Email access via the new Alltel Mobile Email application
  • GPS Navigation
  • MP3 player

Even though the Delve is not a smartphone device, it will require a SmartChoice Pack because it has full HTML browser that will be billed as data.

We've previously heard about the Delve from a rumor that the
same device will come to US Cellular as well.

so u pay 350 and get back 100 or do u pay 250 and get back 100?

considering t-mobile is gunna have a phone just like this except with way better features like 5 mp cam compared to this ones 2 and MAYBE even a front cam. and they're offering it for 150 on a 2 year (after mail and rebates). same with at&t with the eternity but with a 3 mp and its gunna be 100 after mail and rebates. so i highly doubt this phones will be 250. if it is, they are retarded.

You pay $350 up front and get $100 mail in rebate making your final cost $250. It does require a Smart choice package though and a 2 year agreement.

Verizon needed the omnia badly because all they have are dumb LG phones and without LG they'd be nothing. All these verizon fans love their chocolates and envy's targeted at 16 yr old kids. Oh and the Dare is highly overrated.
