advertisment:
Orange and Research In Motion today announced the availability of the BlackBerry Bold, the company's first 3G-enabled smart phone, in Romania. “We are glad to offer our customers the 3G-enabled BlackBerry Bold smartphone. Orange continues to bring the latest products and solutions to the Romanian market and currently offers four BlackBerry smartphones and a wide range of BlackBerry smartphone tariff plans", said Razvan Sturza, Orange Romania Product Manager.

The BlackBerry devices have become increasingly popular worldwide due to their ability to utilize push email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and many other business and lifestyle applications. Through its integrated GPS, users can utilize HSDPA technology to pinpoint their location via several programs, in addition to supporting BlackBerry Maps. Powered by a 624 MHz mobile processor, 128 MB Flash memory plus 1 GB on-board storage memory, and support for tri-band HSDPA and enterprise-grade Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g), the phone is now available for corporate customers and will be available for consumers shortly. Pricing will vary between 349 Euros - 439 Euros, depending on the plan selected.
