Nokia's new 6133 and 6131 score FCC approval

The FCC has just approved the quad-band 6131 and its look-alike the 6133. The 6131 was announced at the 3GSM 2006, while there is still no official word on the 6133. The 6133 model is identical with the 6131, apart from a small difference in the design. The 6133 redesigns the numeric keypad of the 6131, adding some metal trim. Probably Nokia produced the 6133 as a variant of the 6131, targeting it to a different mobile carrier. Nokia 6131/6133 main specifications are:
- Quad-band GSM world phone with GPRS/EDGE support
- QVGA 240x320, 16mln color display
- Music player supporting various formats
- microSD memory expansion
- Internet browser, E-Mail client
- Bluetooth, Infrared, USB
