This article contains unofficial information. Nokia Twist 7705 coming to Verizon September 13

One of the more unique QWERTY keyboard devices coming to Verizon will be the Nokia Twist 7705. As the name implies, the phone twists open to reveal the hidden internal keyboard, and is anchored by a "Contact Light Ring" in the lower-right corner that illuminates when someone is trying to contact you. Additional features include a 2.4" QVGA display, 3MP camera with flash, music player with 16GB microSDHC support, Bluetooth, HTML browser, and supports VCast Videos/Music and VZ Navigator. Since data uses EVDO Rev 0 (and not Rev A), the Nokia Twist 7705 will not be considered an Enhanced Multimedia Phone, and will not require the new data plans that are effective on the 8th. The device will launch first on the Verizon web site and select NYC stores on September 13th, followed by a release at BJs locations on the 19th, and will finally be in corporate stores nationwide on the 21st. Pricing for orders placed via the web and at corporate stores will be $99.99 after $50 rebate with 2-year contract and $169.99 (after rebate) with a 1-year contract. BJs locations will offer it for free (after rebate) with a 2-year contract and $70 (after rebate) with a 1-year contract. Full retail price will be $279.99 regardless of location.

Wow, when will Nokia give up on CDMA? I have yet to hear of a CDMA Nokia phone that hasn't failed with VZW... Perhaps it's VZW's software, which is normally the case, but at any rate, I'm sure this phone will have the same number of malfunctions the others have had.

No, we expect the editors to do their job. EDIT! Any other serious journalism site(thats what this site claims to be) would fire a employee for such blatant disregard for their profession.

i think what phone arena's problem is that the people who write these articles don't know how to proofread. obviously he/she knows how to spell verizon it's just that they are too lazy to look over what they've written...and its not like this is the first time..
