Nokia Shade will offer different color faceplates for personalization

advertisment:
Although it might not garner that second glance from far away, the Nokia 2705 Shade will offer some kind of  personalization to owners who choose to use the basic flip handset. Some new information has been revealed about the phone – although it might pale in comparison to others currently available. It'll sport a meager 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and have 62MB of built-in-memory for your media pleasure – be warned though, you'll tear it apart before finding out it doesn't have a microSD card slot. The memory might seem paltry in size, but we're guessing that its media capabilities are not its strong point. Some may find the interchangeable covers that come in black, red, blue, and purple be a nice change from other owners sporting the handset. You can always throw on the red one to support the wireless carrier; Big Red.

Nokia makes such good products... why is it that none of them ever go to VZW? Midlevel after midlevel... come on LTE then maybe Nokia will make a power device like the n98 or 99 for VZW. One can hope right?

Oh boy... interchangeable faceplates. It's like it's 1996 all over again.

This phone is even too simple for my father. People would have jumped all over this in 2002, but nowadays come on. It's no worse than that new Samsung slider T-Mobile just rolled out. Who says time travel isn't possible?
