The Nokia N95 8GB, where to start other than this is one hell of a phone, or shall I say "Multimedia Computer", as are all Nseries phones are known as except the N70 which was my first best phone, LOOL!

All I can say that this phone is just awesome, it has its days where it just doesnt listen to you but other than that its great!

You can download such applications like VBag which is a Gameboy advance emulator, the new Ngage service with some great games that come with ridiculous prices (you could get the exact same games on the PSone cheaper and better storyline!) Applications are not as interesting as the iPhone apps but still great.

Pros

Awesome phone, High quality camera, DVD quality video playback, awesome games and loads of other stuff you can do on it!

Cons

Dodgy slider mechanism, can crash every now and then, applications not as good as iPhone apps (Maybe I havent been looking hard enough???) NGage service a let down, the original NGage was better.

Hi pals!

Its a great phone... if you manage to crack the firmware and that stuff :D. I did it and there are so manny hidden features in that phone, its just great!! The GPS Performance improves too!

 

Pros

Just look at the specs! :)

Cons

- Short Battery Life
- Cant get the hell out of it if you dont crack the firmware.

it's a big block with heavy problems. gps takes long to lock on, camera quality isn't that great. battery life poor

slider has problems. it's just another nokia rip off

4. N95 8GB missed ... Nokia lost a customer

Man; what a let down. All that hype for nothing. This phone was suppose to be better than everything else. So sad if my N73 was still working, I wouldnt have traded...

-Picture Quality
-Sound
-16m Color Screen
-Super Strong Antenna ( when you have one )

Cons

-Programs Hang
-BUGS
-WHAT GPS ??? that thing never works
-Locks up sometimes
-Takes forever to find signal ( when you lose it )

it's very fat for a phone and doesn't live up to the reputation that was given to it. i'm unable to believe that so many ppl say it's great and yet it can only disappoint.

Pros

5 mpx cam
music keys
big screen

Cons

screen scratches easily
pictures don't come out too good
video recording isn't all that great.
i tried recording a few times and everything it starts up it would record all choppy for the first 30-60 seconds
the gps and maps are unbelievably slow

waste of money and time. worst phone i ever owned and that's a fact. my sony ericson W300 beats this phone by a long run. N95 has a very crummy battery life, poor gps to it.

Pros

big screen
camera has flash

Cons

poor screen quality
poor flash
bulky phone
slides on its own in your pocket
receiver is too quiet
buttons are too close together and very small
secondary camera renders horrible images
usb is very slow
phones takes really long to do things
battery barely even lasts.

sure nokia said they put it all in here. 5 mpx cam, 3g, gps, MP3 player and a whole more. but did they do a good job???

 

NO!!!!

 

nokia simply did what they do best, butter you up with this and that, gizmo's and fancy gadgets that sound nice in an all-in-on package. guess what!?!

sure you get it all. but it's all low quality rubbish. GPS works unbelivably slow, cam pics are always grainy no matter what. the flash doesn't provide decent lighting. the battery lasts a very short time, the battery indicator does not read the abbetery level properly. the slider slides when it wants to in your pocket. the slider can sometimes be wobbly on certain phones. when you send in the phone for repairs nokia returns without making adjustments of fixes, in other words they return it to you as you sent it. the phone has slow reponse time. the receiver could've been louder.  the auto-focus of the camera doesn't always look-on and sometimes gives an error. the buttons are small and too close for those with big fingers. the phone randomly decides to light up. nokia tech support takes ages to help you with a problem. they constantly promise firmware fixes for things and never deliver. the phone is bulky. the integrated wi-fi drops connection too easily ( even when i'm right next to the router). the phone freezes a lot. the games aren't all that great on it. video playback gives some lag. radio requires a headset to capt frequencies and the provided headset with the phone doesn't do a good job. the software given with the phone is slow and consumes considerable resources on pc even though it's not doing much. the phones takes forever to delete minors things.

the more nokia makes phone, the more they degrade the great things they had. like the camera my N82 was way better than this piece of shit.it's so grainy and the colors look awful, the N82 did so much more better. i was expecting something decent atleast during sunny weather but no, it's still freaking grainy. the N82 isn't though.

why is it that the value for the money is 1 because nokia doesn't do anything when you send in your phone for repairs. i sent my phone to get fixed because the camera wouldn't start up and guess what it comes back and the cam still won't start. i sent it in twice and still same thing.

the design is ok the slide slides too easily though, could've been a little more resistant. and my phone makes a buzzing sound is that normal?

i'm very disappointed with nokia and their poor service

..love this phone! huge screen, though it's slow at times and have a flimsy feel with the front buttons but it's a a great phone with lotsa features!
