Surely you remember the Nokia Mako – a futuristic-looking Symbian S60 smartphone that first appeared in a leaked AT&T document about a month ago. Now, the side-sliding handset has been examined in a QIK video. The person shooting says the Mako will be available through AT&T in mid-July as the Nokia 6790 Surge. More specific details on the pricing and release date have not been mentioned, but it is said to be “priced pretty well”. This probably means reasonable, having in mind we previously heard build quality wasn’t really high. However, the video now says that the keyboard is handy and overall feel is nice. You can check the video below!
Another evidence that the 6790 Surge is coming is its FCC profile. Well, no one is really sure if that profile belongs to it, but judging from the uncommon shapes and the listed support for North American 3G bands, it is indeed possible to see the handset live sometime in July.
