Nokia E50 approved by FCC

FCC has just approved the Nokia E50 – a slim business phone running on Symbian OS. The officially announced version of the phone features a 1.3 megapixel camera but it looks like there will be a camera-less version of the handset, as the one in the pictures. The quad-band GSM features a QVGA display, Bluetooth support and EDGE technology.

The FCC pictures show a camera-less phone, while in the officially released images by Nokia a camera is seen on the back of the handset.

*Update Jul 15, 2006:
FCC approved PDNRM-170 - Nokia E50 with camera; It seems that there will be two versions of the phone: with and without camera; they both have the same specifications.
