Nokia 7900 Prism camera defect
News iconPublished on: 13 December, 2007 by PhoneArena Team
Nokia 7900 Prism is a fashionable phone with unique design and a 2.0 Megapixel camera, which surprisingly, gave out a vivid bug during the test. The photos taken with the device have an orange circle blot in the center that takes about 40 percent of the picture.
When we showed Nokia the samples, they asked us to send back the device for research, as they haven’t seen before such problem. But at the Nokia World 2007 event, we tested the displayed model of 7900 Prism, which had the same defect. Then we tested the personal 7900 of one Nokia employee and again the same issue.
For now there has not been an official statement from Nokia if it is going to take measures or any actions whatsoever concerning the model. The device we have will be sent back to Nokia for further examination.
We will keep an eye as the situation unfolds and let you know if there is a change.
We made several samples so you can clearly see the defect:
