New firmware update for Nokia N95

On November 26-th came out version 20.0.015 firmware update for the Nokia N95 smartphone. The new demand paging function that frees up to 30 MB of RAM after booting can be noted as a serious enhancement. Thanks to this software upgrade, the N95 can function faster and steadier.

Other new features included are the N-Gage game engine that has been implemented and new camera software that gives faster shot to shot time and updated image processing algorithms. The update also integrates Search 4.0 on the standby screen and a Nokia Music Store client has been added, but for now it is useless, because Nokia have not updated their music server to handle the N95. There have also been made changes to the functionality. For example, long press on camera button launches the camera if the shutter is open.
