Information about Samsung SPH-A940 leaked on FCC website. The phone is CDMA dual-band with megapixel camera and Bluetooth. The camera can snap images with resolution up to 2 megapixels and has 2x (2 times) optical zoom. Most cell phone cameras today use only digital “fake” zoom that uses software to zoom the picture. The A940 is in clamshell form-factor with the camera built-in into the left side hindge.

Main features:

  • CDMA

  • Bluetooth

  • 2 megapixel camera with 2x optical zoom

  • Clamshell design with camera on the left side

  • Trans-Flash memory expansion

We expect the model to be initially available from Sprint PCS.
