This article contains unofficial information. Motorola to show off 2 new phones at CES?

advertisment:
Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdry has written a report suggesting that Motorola will be introducing two new Android phones at the CES next week. One model will feature an OLED screen and a soft keyboard and will be heading to Verizon. The other phone, to the happiness and relief of AT&T fanboys, is expected to roll out to the latter carrier with an OLED display, physical keyboard and will run the "Google experience" instead of the proprietary MOTOBLUR UI.

Motorola will host an event at the show in Las Vegas on January 6th at 5:30, the day after Google is expected to introduce the Android powerhouse Nexus One. After the Motorola event, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will officially launch the show with his keynote speech. The Schaumburg based company is going to need to introduce some memorable hardware if it is going to keep the momentum from the DROID alive.

Yea...I'm not excited about Moto's AT&T Android device. Isn't it just a clone of the DEXT/Cliq? If that's AT&T's FIRST Android device, they deserve to be in cellular purgatory.

Hurry up and bring me the damn Xperia X10! I really NEED to get rid of my iPhone 3GS. F'ing Google decided not to include AT&T 3G frequencies on the Nexus One otherwise I'd be all over that.

When you're ready to get rid of that 3GS let me know. I'd love to upgrade from my 3G, it'd be nice to have a quicker processor.

Why are you wanting the X10 so bad?
