Motorola V265 review

If you are buying a phone and the camera feature is important, V265 is not for you.  A mixture of low resolution sensor and a screen that you can barely see anything on do not combine well to make a very good camera.  An annoyance I found with the camera was when you pushed the button to take a picture, it makes the shutter sound, then a second later it takes the picture.  Most of the time people move after they hear the sound and it blurs your pictures.  Here are some images taken by the v265's camera with the settings to the best quality.

However, there is an auto timer.  If you think about it, how will you use an auto-timer though?  You will have to prop the phone up just right so it gets everything in the picture.  To make things more difficult, there is not an external display that you view.  They give you a “mirror” for self portraits.  You can not take a picture with the phone closed either.  Needless to say, it would be a cool trick to see someone actually use the self-timer feature for a group photo!  It does give you the option of either 5 seconds or 10 seconds. 

The camera also has different “image styles.”  This is a neat feature so you can take your pictures in black and white, antique, or negative. You are also able to zoom and adjust the contrast for the pictures.
