In a video presentation, Motorola finally announced the Krave ZN4, its full touch model for Verizon Wireless. It is advertised as a multimedia-friendly model, with support for mobile TV...
id rather pay $100 more and get the sprint diamond... made by a reliable company (HTC)... runs windows mobile, plays live tv, has gps, and overall, a much better phone... now i know all the verizon fanboys are going to come out and try to bash me.... but theres not one thing this phone can do that the diamond cant... yeah its $100 more, but thats roughly $4 a month for the life of the contract for a much better phone... and the verizon diamond is going to suck more than the gsm version...
Dude what was the point of your post? I mean Sprint has the Diamond... whoopee! Not everyone wants or needs a PDA phone. That's like knocking a Honda Accord because you can go to Dodge and pay a little more for a Ram pickup but you can tow boats and haul all kinds of crap in the bed. Krave to Diamand = Apples to Oranges.
great point but i still dont understand that apples and oranges anology lol

i think the guys point is that a touchscreen phone vs. touchscreen phone... get off the verizon tip and read stuff with an open mind... in this day and age of touchscreen phones, they all get bunched in to one group... wether it can do this or that... if not, find the phone that does everything... i.e. diamond...
This definitely wins over the Dare, Glyde, and Voyager! I like the music player styled after the iPod Touch. Although the dialing screen looks an awful lot like the Dare's. I like the tilt feature, similar to the iPhone's. And with a price of $150, this should be the pick over the $149 Voyager, $199 Dare, and $149 Glyde. The pricdes came from Verizon Wireless.com.

UI wise, its a lil slower than both the dare and voyager... more like the glydes.. but a hell of a lot more responcive and accurate than the glyde.
IMO I don't think that the phone is better than the Dare or the Voyager. Those two are pretty solid phones. The glyde is not that great of a phone and pretty much anything is better than it. But the phone is a solid third thought

It's a questionable phone. I used one at a pre-launch event and texting sideways is quite awkward. Plus when the flip is down, you have to mash it to use the touchscreen.
if they felt they needed a flip why not flip on the side like an env or have it flip all the way around against the back lets face it if you pick this phone because your life is in danger and you need to count on a cell phone buy a G'zOne Boulder
and a glock but you might think missing afternoon tea is an emergency how do you keep a phone for one extra day after you decide you hate it it dont matter how cool your phone looks you'll just put a bluetooth on the side of your head and show everyone how stupid you are flashing around
I played with our demo in the store and it is indeed a quirky design, but the nice thing about it being ALL touchscreen is about 90% of the quirks can be eliminated or seriously reduced with software patches wich motorolla LOOOVVVVES to release. Well everything except the awkward flip should be fixable....
After playing with the iphone and Tmobile G1, anything with a resistive touchscreen is crappy. Capacitive screens are far superior and I get my G1 in one week. The screen on the Krave is just not as responsive or smooth and the haptic feedback is just annoying.

i bet vzw has more 3g coverage than tmobile has voice coverage :-). but if tmobile works for you, then no harm no fowl or something like that
