When I purchased this device it was hands down the best phone I have ever owned. It had great sound, strong signals, and incredible battery life. Then it began to deteriorate. After 8 months, a fully charged battery will give me up to 30 minutes of talk time and about 18 hours of standby time. Since I only use the phone as a phone, that is really significant. I have to charge it 3-4 times per day. The signal strength has weakened significantly and the sound quality is now poor. My wife 3 year old LG is now much better than my KRZR. I now consider this to be among the worst phones I have ever owned and am preparing to trash it.

I've had my KRZR for just over 6 months now and I am very disappointed with the phone. When I first got it, it seemed great. Nice size and it looks great. But the more I use it, the worse it seems. First thing is that if you leave your phone on for more than a couple of days, the response to button presses gets ridiculously long. It takes more than 5 seconds between the time you press the button to the time the phone reacts. Turning the phone on and off fixes this, but I should not have to do that. My old V710 did not do this. The other annoying thing it does is that it does not display the phone that it is dialing when you use a phonebook entry. Very stupid. Lastly, only 6 months of light use and now the battery can't hold a charge for a day. I'm only getting aoubt 15 hours before I get the annoying dead battery beep. I would not recommend this phone to anyone.

The phone has had a bad wrap, and it WAS crap when it was first released, after the software upgrades that were released for the phone, its been doing a LOT better. The battery is still a problem. just like all motorola phones, especially if youre gonna be playing music, definately get an extended battery for it.

you figure that when you buy such a nice and expensive phone that you would have all the features you could want.i sure was wrong on that note.i found out after buying motorola bluetooth stereo headphones that the motorola website is compatable with the k1m,it is not. you cannot get streaming music over the headphones.i want nothing to do with motorola ever again.i bought many motorola products but i have found that it is all false advertising.never ever believe what the motorola website has to say.also the battery in the k1m isn't very good at all.it runs out very very fast.i will never own another motorola product again.i am destrying all my motorola products and buy a new phone from a company that better represents itself.

This phone is awesome. It is stylish and sleek. Although their are flws to the phone the good out ways the bad. I would not recommend it to people who would use it for work, but i wold recommend it to teens. I just recently got this phone so i have'nt tested it completly. The reception on this phone is amazing, i have at least 3 bars everywhere i go. The battery life is amazing. the only flaw is that it is realy slow but a good buy.

ppl dont buy the k1m i have encoutered many problems wit it (1) its vry slow (2) CDMA! no roaming boring (3) a tad bigger than the k1 ...............................ppl dont waste ur money on this fone the KRZR K1 and KRZR K3 is on the market go buy those instead u wont regret it

37. Better Than Expected

Im an LG person and was very happy with the LG product. I made the switch back over to Motorola and i have to say Im quite impressed with this phone...the battery life, lasts approximatly two day, the call quality, the sleek design which this is a solid phone. Ive read many many reviews about this phone and I have to say Im quite impressed thus far.(Having it 1 Week) This phones solid and durable, however Im yet to drop this phone yet, hearing so much about the front portion which is glass....have to make sure u get a clip on case so u dont cracke it.All in all decent phone...Great Job Motorola

Like a rolex, bulova, omega...etc. This phone is special. Great sound, signal and a solid construction. This is a bealtiful piace of engineering. But the features have only a necessary in a phone.

I love the phone but its response time slow and it gets slower as time goes on in about 2 weeks its unbareable I have to remove battery and do a hard reset and seems to fix it for about 2 weeks.... (i think its a memory leak problem)

Verizon said they a working a firmware fix and it is a known problem... I guess they like the Gates theory get it market first fix it later....

40. Great Phone - Sprint

This phone is a major improvement over the RAZR that I used to own. Call quality is amazing and the UI is much better than Verizon. I wish it had an external light for missed calls, and A2DP Bluetooth (minor request) Menus are a slightly sluggish, but firmware update is on the way to fix this. This phone is great from Sprint.
