The Motorola DROID features the Android 2.0 operating system, massive 3.7" capacitive touchscreen with 480x854 resolution and 16-million color support, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 5MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash, DVD-quality video recording at 720x480 24fps, High-speed data support with EVDO Rev A and Wi-Fi, Google Maps with Navigation, Web Browser with HTML5 support, 550Mhz processor, 512MB ROM / 265MB RAM, and comes pre-installed with a 16GB microSDHC memory card. Pricing of the Motorola DROID is $199.99 after a $100 rebate with a 2-year contract, $269.99 after rebate with a 1-year contract, and $559.99 full retail.
The HTC DROID ERIS come with the Android 1.5 operating system, but features the HTC Sense UI interface, which makes it more user-friendly. There is a 3.2" capacitive touchscreen with 320x480 resolution and 262K color support, 5MP autofocus camera, High-speed data support with EVDO Rev A and Wi-Fi, Google Maps, Web Browser, 528Mhz processor, 512MB ROM / 288MB RAM, and comes pre-installed with a 8GB microSDHC memory card. The HTC DROID ERIS comes it at a lower price of $99.99 after a $100 rebate with 2-year contract, $169.99 after rebate with a 1-year contract, and $469.99 full retail.
