Motorola DEVOUR at the Super Bowl

A few weeks ago Motorola launched a teaser site briefly showing the Motorola DEVOUR with MotoBLUR and that it would be shown at some point during the big game. Then Verizon made an announcement that the device would be made avaliable for sale next month. While watching the Super Bowl tonight, sure enough there was a TV ad for the Motorola DEVOUR with MotoBLUR featuring Megan Fox in a bathtub. She uses the phone to stay in-touch with her friends and sends everyone a picture of her in the bath.

It doesn't have to mention the carrier. Apple doesn't mention gayT&T. It was a good commercial though! :]

Comparing the iphone's ubiquity to that of the unreleased motorola devour is not a good place to start your arguement.

Right? What an idiot. There was no reason to bring that topic, once again, into another article.

Anyway we all know it is going to Verizon. I like how Motorola is entering the business with better phones. I remember them being so lame with their phone selection before. I'm glad they are making phones for every carrier, even AT&T. I didn't think many other phones would come since the iPhone is on this carrier.

Apple does always mention AT&T in their commercials though, right at the end they always have the AT&T logo.

You were surprised that Motorola paid for a Super Bowl ad slot to advertise for themselves and not another company? Seriously? This was a Motorola commercial, and if you did notice, the Verizon logo was visible on the phone at one point.
