You didn’t think Skyfire would be staying without competition for too long, did you? A new Internet browser for Windows Mobile is now available as a trial version. It is called Mach5 Web and the best about it... Flash 10 support that makes it possible to play embedded videos and view content on sites like YouTube, CNN and so on. Similarly to Skyfire, Mach5 is proxy-based thus page rendering is done on a remote server to ensure fast performance. You’ll be able to surf the web with Mach5 Web on phones with screen resolutions of 240x320, 240x400, 480x640 and 480x800 pixels. Unfortunately, we just don't know if the application remains free when the trial period has ended in the middle of this month or the developer will charge for it.
You can sign up for a trial copy of Mach5 Web here.
*Update*: We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it turns out that the link is currently valid for Hong Kong users only.
