MBW-100 - a Bluetooth Watch by Sony Ericsson

Sony Ericsson has today unveiled a new mobile phone accessory - the MBW-100 Bluetooth Watch, developed together with Fossil. The device is made of stainless steel and weighs 6.6 oz (188 g), with classic looks and an OLED display just below the dial-face. The device has Bluetooth 2.0 support and features Auto pairing. The OLED display indicates newly received messages and shows Caller ID on an incoming call, battery info, and also an out-of-range warning. You can answer/reject and mute calls, as well as control the music payer of your phone through the MBW-100. The manufacturer claims the battery standby time is up to seven days for Bluetooth functionality, and also that the device is water resistant for up to 30m. The MBW-100 Bluetooth watch has two color variants - silver and exclusive limited black edition, and is expected to start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2006 at a price of about $380.
