Live images of the LG enV Touch for Verizon

advertisment:
Even though the enV Touch is officially being released by Verizon on June 5th, it seems that a few people have got lucky and been able to order it early. One such person, 91ZCpe from HowardForums, was kind enough to post a few quick pictures of the device. There has been a lot of hype over the enV Touch XV11000 as it will take the place of the year-and-a-half old Voyager. Features include two 3" WVGA displays with 800x480 pixel resolution (external display is touch sensitive), QWERTY keyboard, 3.2MP autofocus camera with Schneider Kreuznach lens and flash, HTML web browser, EVDO Rev A, document viewer (read .doc, .xls, .ptt, and .pdf files), threaded messaging, 3.5mm headset jack, VCast services, Bluetooth, microUSB port, and supports up to 16GB microSDHC memory cards. Pricing will be $149.99 after $70 rebate with a 2 year contract, $219.99 after $70 rebate with a 1 year contract, and $409.99 full retail.

Because its pretty cool to have an accelerometer
it should also have a virtual qwerty keyboard then that will be awesome....

thats why i think it should have one. i think it would be stupid of LG not to add in an accelerometer or at least an on-screen button that would switch to landscape mode and make the touch-screen text entry a virtual QWERTY

But why no Mobile TV???? I don't understand this....why remove something on the phone that was already there? If people don't want to subscribe then they don't have to, but for the people who do like the Mobile TV it should be there....that's what made the original Voyager different than the Dare and now the Versa.....I cannot believe they took away that option! Is anyone else upset about the deletion of the Mobile TV?

Mehh, I have had the voyager a while back, and not once did I have the urge to use the TV option... though to its credit, the little antenna that it came with is pretty cute... But that's about it. So in my opinion, the lack of the TV option is not going to diminish the excitement for this phone.

I can understand if people don't use the TV but then they just wouldn't subscribe to it...but for people who want it, they can't get it....still doesn't make sense....better to have option and not use it if you choose to do so, then to not have the option at all.....everyone I know of agrees with wanting to have the Mobile TV choice....guess I won't be upgrading for awhile:(

Do you think that the voyager titanium will get an update to run this software?

1) will there be a enV touch in titanium like the old voyager? (that look is much better)
2) What is better to get the enV3 or Touch?
3) will there be more display themes because the ones listed don't look good at all?
Please help my contract ends very soon. Thanks

1. Probably not anytime soon
2. enV Touch probably (since neither of them are out it's hard to tell- im just making an educated guess based off of the specs, etc.)
3. the person from Howard Forums made it seem the Postage Stamp and Blue display themes are the only ones. There may be more, just not photographed?

1) Anyone hoping for a t9 style keypad inside?
2)Hooray Black is Back! I hated the titanium color.
3) Virtual QWERTY!
4) I think there is a black and red color theme too.
