Yesterday, LG announced its first models to support global 3G. The new KM560 and KP330 are both quad-band GSM phones with tri-band UMTS data, so world-wide 3G roaming is possible.

LG will initially make the LG KM560 and LG KP330 available through Telstra, Telenor, Rogers Wireless, Telefonica Movile, Cable & Wireless International, and Entel PCS, in the second half of 2008. Later this year it will introduce the phones in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
