Yesterday LG unveiled the world’s smallest 3.2-inch touchscreen phone, the Mini GD880, as well as the successor to the KS360 (Neon), the GT350. Today the manufacturer again surprises us with a new product, but this time we get to see the successor to one of its best-selling devices, the Cookie. So, the new phone is called LG Cookie Plus GS500 and at this moment, information on its specs is pretty scarce. We do know however that it will feature SNS functionality, in order to deliver some integration with social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Flickr). It will also have LG’s graphically-based LiveSquare interface, an Editable Screenshot MMS app that will let you play with some photos and share them, and some other stuff like lots of themes and widgets. While no other specs are available, the company has at least announced that the camera will be 3MP (same as the original). Additionally, we can see from its Bluetooth profile that it's going to have 3G support.
The LG Cookie Plus GS500 will be released in 45 countries around the world, with France and Italy being the first to get it in the beginning of March. LG has also said that it plans to turn the Cookie into a whole new line of phones that are expected to be announced in the coming months. Unfortunately, we still do not have images of the LG Cookie Plus, but will update the article, once the manufacturer publishes some.
