LG looking to become No.2 phone manufacturer This article contains unofficial information.

advertisment:
Being the third largest cell phone manufacturer in the world, LG is (of course) looking for ways to take over Samsung’s and come out second in the current ranking. UnwiredView gives some information on how exactly the company plans to achieve its goal. First off, some “Black label” series phone is said to be in the works, scheduled for a Q4 launch. It looks like the handset will be yet another attempt at an iPhone killer (or an iPhone copy, depends on the point of view). Another handset that is said to be under development is the next installment of the stylish PRADA series. In addition, the source informs that LG even has plans to establish its own ultra-luxury brand, similarly to Nokia’s Vertu. So, do you think that will help the South Koreans get the second place?
