LG Vu official for Canada

Rogers in Canada has officially announced that it will release the LG Vu in the beginning of May. We’ve no idea if “available exclusively at Rogers Wireless” means it will be exclusive for Canada only, or worldwide, making AT&T waiting, here in the U.S., although the rumors first appeared for its version.

Being officially announced, lots of information about the cool phone is revealed. The images confirm the similar to Prada and Viewty design as well as that it will run on a modified version of the software used in those two. It is a half an inch (13mm) thick candybar with 2.8-inch 240x400 pixels touch sensitive display. The camera is 2-megapixel and the memory is expanded through microSD cards. It has full HTML browser, which would make use of the 3G HSDPA fast data.

What isn't Canada getting first? They got the K850, Nokia 5310, and now probably the Vu. What's next, Nokia N95 8GB? They can go burn in hell!!!!

I HAVE BEEN WATING FOR THIS PHONE FOR SOOOOOO LONG I GAVE UP WATING AND GOT THE TMOBILE SHADOW IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE OUT SINCE JANUARY WTF AT&T AND NOW CANADA GETS IT FIRST B.S

calm down...

AT&T stores have already been receiving signage and accessories for the 2 versions of the Vu that they will get (one with mediaFLO and one without). AT&T also announced that mediaFLO should rollout by May, so I'd expect that both Vu versions should come by that time too.

Besides, Canadians pay ridiculous data charges compared to Americans; I wouldn't complain too much ;-)

Okay you all need to calm the eff down.
If you really want it that bad, come over to canada and buy it cause youll obviously get it for cheaper. Jesus, I didnt know you guys could be so violent about a cell phone.
The Vu is out, but the codes for activation arent in until may 21. Barely anyone knows about this phone, and the campaign has just started with billboards -inside- buildings.
As for the friendly americans who congradulated, thanks =]
about time we get something first lol

What is the big hoo haa? I have been waiting 4ever for iphone to come to canada, i'm still annoyed. oh well, now I'll get the LG Vu
