I exchanged a Samsung SCH-u5400 for this and I am impressed.

Has decent features of an advanced phone and a pretty solid design.

Doesnt not take movies, but has an awesome camera system but makes up for it with its camera. You can zoom, use effects, and has good resolution. It shows what the camera sees on the outside when you are taking a picture so your subjects know what they are going to look like.

I have finally found one that I can hear the ringer. Even with my hearing disability I had to turn the volume down. The sound quality, battery life, and reception are very good. This is not an entertainment center phone. The advanced features are very practical, i.e. Navigator and Bluetooth to name two, and the final cost with the plan that I have was $5.00.
The pictures of it are a little deceiving. It is unique in that the front appears as a mirror surface when the front screen is not active.
For me the VX5400 is an exceptional value.
