I love this phone! I am so glad that I opened what I thought was junk mail. It is easy to use and the clips and pixs are awesome. The only thumbs down for me would be that it is not bluetooth.... other than that, I would and have highly recommended this phone to everyone that asks me about it.

I would give the vx8000 a a+ except for no bluetooth, the volume for ringer could be a bit louder, but other than that, this is the best phone I ever had by far.

I love this phone! It does just what it was advertised to do. Once this phone hits the market, You definitely need to get it. The clarity of the calls are crystal clear. The video clips are crystal and the sound from the clips is just amazing.

26. Great Phone

Verizon is having test trials of the phone in San Diego, and Washington D.C. 500 people are selected, and all they have to do is pay $15 a month extra until Jan. 16th 2005. No price for the phone, and you can keep it after the trial. I'm one of the people selected to trial it, and the phone is great. The only thing confusing me is the whole MP3 playback thing. I have no idea how to play mp3's or download them. Besides that, everything else is great. Oh, and the phone is big, but pretty light.

29. Next generation ~

A very nice phone that will keep you and others entertained for quite a while. The camera (both snapshot and video) is the best I've seen yet on any Verizon Wireless phone, and this thing plays movie clips with ease. The sound quality is clear and the screens (both inner and outer) easily top any other phone currently in market. All this conspires to eat up the 64MB of space this phone allows for video clips, text, games, music, and whatever else you'll be doing with this beast of a phone (also, playing music using the phone's outer "jukebox" buttons is pretty cool and will certainly attract attention).

The overall design on this phone isn't too great; it is bigger than many of the slimmer, newer models and seems clunky next to my old Audiovox CDM8900. The buttons feel cheap and clicky (I notice this of many LG phones actually) and unfortunately, the camera is the first thing to hit the ground should you drop this phone on its face. It's not the prettiest phone, but certainly not ugly.

The signal is very clear and I've yet to run into any serious problems with it. The new Mobile Web 2.0 and Advanced Get It Now! features only work in certain areas of San Diego (and if I'm not mistaken, Washington, DC) but once these features become available everywhere, the LG VX8000 will definitely be one of the more powerful phones in the field.

30. Excecllent!

I really like this phone. Don't buy the VX7000, wait for the 8000. This phone has decent sound quality and better menus than the 7000. Don't even think about buying the 6100. Its the worst one out there.
