I bought my lg rythym a week ago and love it. Bought the clear case but it's hard to use the controls on the front of the phone,so I took the front cover off. No problems as of yet. Still learning the phone though.

52. LG Rhythm problems

I bought the LG Rhythm 2 days ago and have already been on the phone with tech support and exchanged the phone at the store of purchase. I can't receive calls or text messages unless I am on a call that I made. As soon as I make a call any vm's or text messages that have been sent to me earlier come through. I've had people in the same room with me call my phone, they hear it ring 4-5 times before going to VM, but the phone doesn't light up or ring, and nothing is in my call log. But if I am on the phone on a call I will get a beep and my screen shows "call waiting..." Has anyone else had this problem? Tech support is stumped. Alltel doesn't have any other phone I like as much except data phones, and I don't want to pay for a data plan just to have a cool phone.
Great features like easy to use mp3 playerCan't receive calls

53. How to use your mp3 files as ringtones

First off, I got my wife this phone, and she loves it too, but it is a slight pain to use your mp3s for ringers, but it can be done and once you get the hang of it, you will be flying through it with practice. You obviously need a micro SD card to achieve this. Basically, its the same way to click and drag your files that you would put in your "My Music" folder (which actually is in the users guide), but instead, you must put the mp3s in the "My Audio" folder. Once you have the song you want to use as a ringer in your My Audio file, disconnect your phone, click MENU/MULTIMEDIA/AUDIOS. You should see your mp3 file name in there. Highlight it, softkey "Options" and go down to Move/Copy and it will ask you if you want to move the file to the phones memory, which you will promptly reply yes to. If you do not, it will tell you that you cant set it to ringers without moving it to your phones memory. If it is already on your phones memory, it will ask if you want to move it to your card, and Id only do that if youre done using it as a ringer. Once that is done, you should be able able to highlite it and click options/set as/ringtone and you will be money. Hope this helps.

This phone is super cute and cool!
Only drawback is that NO, you CANNOT use your MP3's as ring-tones.
The only way you can is to record up to your speaker and save then set it.
Awesome-tastic phone though!!

This phone is nothing short of amazing!!! Well worth the $300. I chose the black one because white gets dirty too easy. If you are second guessing yourself about buying one of these...DON'T!!! Best investment you will ever make!

I have had a lot of cell phones in the past 9 years, but this one is by far the best EVER!!! I have so much fun with all the features! I really like that it has a built in transmitter for the MP3 player - and it works great!! If any of you need help, you can email me - Im pretty good at this stuff :)

Very nice phone! Looks good, nice size. The buttons could be a little bigger but getting use to it. I had the wave before and this phone is set up some what the same only with more features! The battery life is way better than advertised.

I agree with the instruction manual being no help at all. I want to use my music as ringtones, does any one know how to do that with this phone?
