Terrible phone. Won't hold a charge. Chat function will screw up if you receive a text while you're in it. Will shut down if you receive 2 texts at once. Overall a piece of shit. Buy an ipod separately and save yourself the grief.

I liked this phone at the beginning when I got it. But now I got so frustrated with it shutting itself off and back on all the time that I went in and had my old v3m turned back on. So now I am sitting here locked in a new contract with a pos phone on the shelf. I am debating whether to send it or not.
Nice phone, like the mp3 player.Shuts itself off and back on way too much.

Ok to begin i do not know what all u ppl are saying when u say the soft keys r to sensitive just get off ur lazy butts and turn the sensitivity down seriously dont complain if u dont even know that! The phone does lack a little in battery life but other than that its not bad at all i love it 100%. The menu they show on the pics is not the menu i hace though i have the newer menu with messeging as the right soft key and celltop as the right soft key i have no probelem with the flywheel and please dont adresse the fly wheel as "that spiny thing" LG gave it that name for a reason u can navigate fast ring a bell anyone>>? When u get used to the flywheel u can navigate through ur phone faster than ever! ANd i am a big texter texting was no prob on this phone after like two days the slider is a tad heavy other wise its no prob so really i reccomend this phone to anyone who is willing to do a bit of change and to any one with common sense this phone is the shittt! O and to anyone who read reviews about the rhythm taking a while to recieve texts it recieves like the second somone sends or within like 30 seconds and i have had no probs what so ever with missing calls they all come just like a regular phone trust me when i say this i have this phone and like five of my friends do to its worth the money..... Alltel rocks down with Verizon, Sprint, cellcom, T mobile, AT&T is the worst around where i live!
Flywheel, Music Player, FM tuner, sliding feature...(i have tested out the Motorolla ROKR B4 it sucks badly) The touch screen buttons, the reception,texting.... (The shittt on this phone thank u LG) and that about wraps it up now for the cons..........the cons suprisingly for this phone i have like two...... The menu....(to much stuff i dont use like SHOP and RADIO take my minutes will u!!!) and then..... i guess only had one

Well to start off i recieved my phone as a backup to my old LG phone which they no longer make thank god. After I recieved the Rhythm through insurance I thought, great this phone doesn't look too bad besides the big spinning wheel in the center. Well the first couple days went by and I studied the phone and noticed all the cool things such as the background pic in the center, and the light colors that vibrate when you touch them, so I thought the phone navigated itself very well. HOWEVER, days go by and I notice for some reason all my text messages were coming in a once time and at a delayed time. From 30 minutes to possibly hours, the same with voice mails. Where I would get a phone call (never recieved on the phone) and was left a voice mail, well after a couple of days the same person calls and leaves a voice mail and the phone discovers that there are in fact 2 voice mails! I suggest to anyone who thinks this phone looks slick and likes the featues to avoid purchasing it through Alltel, possibly through Verizon as well. It may be a fun little toy that plays supurb music but it should not be called a PHONE, just for teh reasons alone that it cannot hold the standards of actually holding a signal, recieving messages, and accepting calls at times.

I Got this cell back around thanksgiving. Now on the 3rd one through the exchange program and still the same. I receive 2 out of 20 calls no VM alerts no text. Phone really sux for just about everything. Customer service says i have to exchange one more time before getting a new choice in a cell. This is absurd, I will get a phone that rings! And really this phone is not that cool, Its Very unattractive, Its the fat cheerleader of cell phones.
So DO NOT BUY THIS CELL, Please, for your own mental well being.
Plays Mp3's Through Your Car Stereo. Thats it!~ Everything else it does every other phone does.No INCOMING ANYTHING. Does not function as a phone. A very costly, huge, 120mb,Mp3 Player. Save your 299 or whatever "contrct" price you get it for

I have had this phone for a month now and i love everything about it. I got it through U.S. Cellular so i don't have any problems downloading ringtones from my PC to my phone. Verizon also screwed the Razors when they came out as well. The "wheel" is there for fun. I found it alot easier to just click my way through the menu. I will have to agree on the sensitive soft keys.

Piece of crap! I am on number 3 and i am still having issues. Either won't charge or shuts off and restarts.

When I first got it, I was impressed. But after I got to learn more about it, I come to hate it. Sometimes I didn't recieve calls or text messages. It took a whole 2 minutes for me to completely send a message! I was always accidentally hitting the touch buttons, which screws up whatever you were doing before you hit them. Plus, whenever I would be navigating through the main menu, I couldn't get steady on what I wanted to go to. And all my friends would picking on me saying it was an "ugly phone" and that "it lookks waterproof". But now they don't say that shizz because I upgraded to the LG Glimmer and got that problem solvved. :D

this fone is really getting on my nerves, everything is great except it takes a fking 2 hours to send a single message and it takes a hella long time for me to receive them!!!!!!
music on mp3 player is goodtakes hours to send txt msgs and takes a very long time to recieve them, i wish some1 would've told me this before i get this phone because it rele sux, and i kant get a new 1 until the next 2 yrs :l.
