I've had this phone for just over six months.. it worked grat at first, but about 4 months in, the touch screen on the front would stop working randomly, it started freezing and restarting all the time.  Not only that, but it won't play ringtones I buy anymore.  I can listen to them, but when I go to put them as text tones or the call tone, it plays a preset tone.

Good battery life
Cute
easy to figure out

Cons

Starts to screw up early-on

this phone is horrible. Granted, its very sleek and stylish but its performance is crap! My phone will say I have signal one minute and the next I have nothing even when I have not moved my phone. I dont get my calls, it takes several minutes to even hours to receive my text messages but eveyone around me on the same network is having no problems. My phone can show full signal yet I wont receive a call. I hate it and I plan to trade it tomorrow. I read the reveiws and saw more bad than good and I didnt listen. If you are thinking of getting this phone save your time money it is not worth it!

very cute and stylish
great battery life

Cons

the buttons on the front get in the way when sliding phone open
does not let calls come through or texts

ive had this phone for three months and didnt have any problems until recently. in the last two days it has shut itself off 8 times randomly. it also mutes when i either turn speakerphone on or off. love the phone but this is very frustrating.

I had a LG scoop to start out with and It would randomly shut off..At first i just put it off and then it kept doing it! After awhile i got sick of it and before i could even get a chance to take it back my screen turned completly WHITE!! i was very angry!! I took it to the store and got a diffrent phone. LG rhythm I liked it when i first got it, but after awhile it would also randomly shut off but i have had this phone for about 2 months now and it has only done it about 3 times . I think that ALL of the LG phones just have a malfunction in them and its something your just gonna have to get used to  or get a diffrent phone!! I have not had any other prblems with my phone.

15. Problems from day one!

My son and I both bought the same phone in December. The phone will randomly shut down, sometimes it won't let we answer certain numbers and mostly recently it will mute so the person on the other end can't hear me. My sons is experiening similar problems with his phone.

Pros

I have always liked LG and would buy one again. I just think this model needs a little work.

Cons

Turns off by itself, can't answer certain calls, mutes automaticly.

16. Phone shut down and will not power up!

I've noticed that alot of people have had problems with their Rhythms randomly shutting down. Mine has done that off and on, but now it wont power back up. I plugged it into the charger and it doesn't do ANYTHING.

17. Firmware update is out

Hi all.  I just thought I would mention here for all US Cellular customers that there has been a firmware (software) update for this phone.  I went and got mine updated last week.  I am really hoping that this fixes some of the bugs that the phone has had so that I can again love this phone like I did when I first got it.  I don't know if all areas of US Cellular have the update so call before you go to the store.  Hope this helps some of you.

18. good then the phone goes down hill

i bought this phone in december 08 i loved it until i looked at it not even a month later and there were lines across the screen so i ignored it hoping they would go away 1 week later still there had gotten worse. i took it to store and they gave me another one i have now had it for 5 months and i have decided to get a new phone i am sick of the weird things it does off and on so i am gonna probally get away from lg unless i find good reviews on one

All lg phones turn off randomly by themselves. it's just the software and thats something you have to get used to. some phones are DOA or damaged already when bought which is why they suck.. take it back to where you bought it and get a new one. phones that malfunction over time.. well you probably dropped it one too many times...

20. Ringtones Don't Work

I get my ringtones sent to me from a website and some of my friends bluetooth me songs that i can set as ringtones.  It worked great at first, but now when i get a text it plays one of the ringtones that came on it.  Does anyone know how to fix this?? Overall this is a great phone but it gets a little boring after a while.
