LG PRADA KE850 Phone Review

The launch of phones like LG Chocolate and Motorola KRZR in 2006 seemed to give rise to a new trend of fashion phones which, although made by different manufacturers, had one common feature that set them apart from all other phones, namely, the shiny glossy material they were made of. This material is nothing like the RAZR-type metal structures, but it nevertheless looks just as upmarket and stylish. This look has been developed for some time and we have seen this finish even in the RIM BlackBerry smartphones (initially Pearl, and later 8800), considered until recently to be conservative, which again shows how universal it can be. However, when all these phones started to look alike, the designers had to think of something new, to upgrade their previous best ideas. Maybe inspired by the fantasy movies, the creators have decided to use touch-sensitive screens, mostly for the vision and the feeling you get when you touch the flat display, rather than for the convenience of using many functions. It feels somehow natural to press on the things you want to activate. So you get a stylish shiny black phone with a minimum number of keys and a considerably big touch-sensitive screen: the same strategy has been used by Apple in their iPhone; Samsung F700 is also of a similar kind.

Verizon
It's GSM, buddy, it's not coming to Verizon (since there's not even an FCC approved CDMA version).

Maybe next September 15, because that's how long it will take for Verizon to get the agreement, LG to engineer it, the FCC to approve it, and Verizon to test it.

The prada phone is coming to the US via CDMA. A rep at vzw confirmed that it will be released in the 3rd quarter of 2008.

I'm hearing the same thing from Verizon employees. They're saying late Summer 2008 the LG PRADA(CDMA version) will be on Verizon and i'm not talking about unlocked overseas Prada phones either.

LG Prada is not so wonderful
I know that the look of prada phone is just awesome and it carries prada's brand name. My husband bought that phone for me in December 2007 and it works great and I actually crazy about it. I became a cool person because I have prada phone and noone has it yet. Unfortunately, within 3 weeks that phone went dead on me, the screen went black and even the dealer don't know what was happening with the phone. So, I don't understand why we have to have prada phone. I sent $400 for nothing!!!!!! I would give that money to some one who really need it. Anyway, unless your parents are freaking rich so it doesn't matter to spend $400 for prada phone that will break in about 1 month. I still regret it and I'm going to for a whole life. I have never spent that much on a stupid phone before.
