Ive had this phone for about a month now and i love it! my ringer works fine i hear it ok and havent missed a call yet. i did the same thing though i switched from 5 rings to 7. the touch to unlock was a little annoying but i got use to it. it keeps my phone on vibrate in class unlike my other phone.
very easy to use. make sure you put on the cover for the touch screen cause it will save your screen and you can always get a new cover.

I have had the phone for a period of time, and love it. The only thing is the ringer, the message alert for text and picture messages works perfectly, I only wish the ringer for incoming calls would work the same. I am going to go to alltel to see what they can do about it, as well as LG.
As others have said, the phone is perfect except for the ringer style.

This phone is confusing. I don't get the point of the physical keypad. Don't get me wrong, it is a good phone. But with better options out there, and better services, you can get more for your money.

This phone is awesome, like other users noted, i had the same problem with the ringer, by just making a quick call to alltel, they changed my rings from 5 to 7 so now i have more time to get to the phone!

Have had this phone about a week and for the most part love it. Lots of great features and very nice design. Definitely the nicest phone Alltel has ever offered. Unfortunately the escalating ringer is a big problem and has caused a number of missed calls already. I called LG and was told they absolutely will not be changing this with software upgrades and there will be no changes to the phone itself in the future. As others have done I reluctantly will be returning mine, and probably will leave Alltel at the end of my contract for a better choice of phones elsewhere.

I bought this today, I like everything about it except the fact that the ringer sucks!! I've missed a few calls today cuz you can't make it any louder.
Otherwise, it's nice. It's smaller than I had expected, it's about the same size as a closed razr, not as wide and sleek looking. I really like that you don't have to slide it open to make calls.

The phone overall is a really nice one. The only thing I do not like about it is the ringer. You can not change to way it rings. It always starts off really soft & gets louder. Other than that, it is a very useful phone, especially for what I use it for.
