LG GLIMMER officially announced

advertisment:
Although we had really solid information on the GLIMMER, it was not officially announced up till now. Today, LG Korea showed it on its site, saying that 12th of March is the day; yes, Alltel will get its cool slider with 2.8” touch display tomorrow, if we understand those Korean signs correctly.

Earlier, we gave you the full specifications, but up till now we had no idea what software it would run on. The live images provided, reveal it will be a variant of what the Viewty and Prada phones use in Europe and which we really liked when we reviewed them. We would have to wait to see the price, but a combination of Shine-like design and 2.8” touch display with cool interface hints us that the phone will turn into a hit.

re #2
hahahahaha.. wow. ur right. sprint is better at att and verizon put together for... pissing off customers, dropping service, and losing money! Good luck with your job next year as sprint sells itself into pieces!

this phone is a rip of a venus with a full touch screen instead of a partial. howabout a CDMA phone that does radio and TV combined. That would be something new.

This phone would most likely goto verizon, seeing sprint doesnt carry the overpriced lg phones. and vzwemp, why do all of you guys hate on sprint so much? is it because you sound so distorted with only 800mhz????

TO 5
FACT OF THE MATTER #5 IS NO ONE IS CORRECT. ITS ALL PERSONAL PREFERENCE. I'M AN EMPLOYEE OF VZW AND BEFORE THAT I HAD SPRINT AND HAD AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I LIVE IN COLORADO GRANTED WHICH SPRINT HARDLY WORKS ANYWHERE, WHERE AS VERIZON WORKS IN 95% OF THIS STATE WHICH IS REMARKABLE. I GUESS MY OTHER POINT IS IT DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU RESIDE. BEYOND THAT, SPRINT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPIERENCE IS AWFUL AND LETS FACE IT, IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT STATE YOU LIVE IN AS FAR AS WHAT KIND OF CUST SERVICE YOU GET, THEY WERE ALWAYS TERRIBLE. AS A VZW EMP I HAVE TO CALL CUST SERVICE PROBABLY 10 TIMES A DAY AT LEAST AND I ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL BASED OUT OF AMERICAN AND HAVE PERFECTLY NORMAL ENGLISH ACCENTS. IN FACT IVE NEVER HAD 1 SINGLE VZW CUST SERVICE REP SOUND LIKE THEY WERE IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY NOR HAVE I EVER HAD TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING ONE. BY THEY WAY MOST VERIZON TOWERS ARE UP TO 1900 MHZ AND SOON 2000 SO YOU ARE ALSO WRONG AGAIN ON THAT. GET YOURSELF IN CHECK STUNTZ.

t- huff your an idiot
first off, you write in all cap, you are an idiot.
second off, verizon towers and go to 1900 doesnt mean that they do, verizon runs off cdma 800, because it travels further.

3rd, if you respond and write in all caps, you that you are an idiot.

To #7...you shouldn't be calling people an idiot when you can't use the word "your" correctly (it should be "you're").

It seems as if there is nothing informative here to say.

Funny That the cell phone wars still occur...
Its funny how people fight over which phone service is better. I work with sprint and have had sprint since i got a phone back when i was 13. Its fine for me, but picking a company is all based on what phone you want, and how much you're willling to spend. I'm fine with going to any company, but working with sprint, i have more convenience staying here. any problems with ur phone company just very well be that you dont keep yourself organized and you lose track of how many minutes, the reason why theres no signal, or other trivial matters that something goes wrong with your service. No body is perfect.
