My lil mermaid did pretty well in the water. I was in the water swimming for about 45 seconds or so and it still works!! The outside screen doesn't work but everything else does. I suggest when this happens you take out your sim card cause it wiped out all the info on the card but left the text messages. Great phone and I'm gettting a different one.
