The first review rather sucks because it's not fair. States the phone is great for emergencies, but WHY do you have it in the first place?
Should you get this if you have a contract, etc? NO
Should you get this as a replacement to ride a contract out? YES!
Should you get this as an emergency service or prepaid phone? YES!
It's not loaded, but it's not designed to be loaded. Talk, TXT, done. Anything more and you shouldn't be looking at this phone or any LG to begin with as there's far better and more capable phones out there. But it's no reason to trash this with a low rating when it does do what it states it will with solid pickup ranges from towers and coverage areas. And the talk time and reserves are up to specs. There are a couple of little drawbacks but nothing to prevent you from getting and using this phone!
Small, light phone that can fit in pockets, purses, etc.
Variable controls and a decent menu, especially for an LG
Prefect for a prepaid or limited use phone.
Excellent graphics and larger screen are easy to read and use.Small, light phone that'll get pounded if you abuse phones
Not meant for heavy everyday use like mainline phones
LG proprietary charger and jack means no USB onboard
HAVE to buy their Data cable to modify tones, etc.
