This is the worst phone ever made I couldn't hardly hear out of it and it kept needing to be prepaired.

2. its not the BEST. but its pretty good

-i think that all kyocera phones have this alike, but their batteries arent all that. i mean theyre not horrible but they can be better.
-i think the design of the phone is kinda cool. no other phone looks like this expect the Kyocera Candid
KX16.
-this phone doesnt have a camera, but i dont mind. ive always had camera phones and theyre not that great.
-im a HUGE texter and the ezi predictive text is kinda retarded. you have to constantly keep adding new words.
-the call quality depends on your service provider. for me, i have Cricket and even with 1 bar, calls are really clear. so people, dont blame the phone for the calls being dropped or lost, blame your service provider(its THEIR fault)
-the side buttons are kinda cool because you can switch from vibrate to regular sound in like a half a second. but these buttons can be pushed really easly, so you gotta be carefull of that.
-the ringers are 100% gay! every kyocera phone has the same ringtones, they just sproose up the the sound when a new phone comes out. but i guess you can download some better ones. another bad thing is that you cant have the phone ring and vibrate at the same time. i never hear my phone when its on regular ring so i keep it on vibrate so i can feel it.
-so in conclusion, this phone isnt perfect. no phone is. in my opinion, it suits my needs. if you want a high tech phone with bluetooth and a camera, dont get this phone. BUT if you want a simple phone with good features then DEFFINATLY check this phone out.

3. My review

I own the Kx1 which I purchased from Alltel. I have had no issues at all with this phone. Now just like any other phone the vibrate mode takes a lot of battery juice, but again, it takes a lot for any phone to vibrate. As far as Verizon, just like any company, they give you 15 days. I bought the phone particularly to be used for purposes intended, to make calls. That is all you really need a cell phone to do, right? Anyways, this is my third cell phone, and probably the best one yet in my opinion. Has been more than dependable.

4. Basic phone

This phone is my second phone. This is a basic phone. If all you want to do is make calls then buy this phone. The speaker is good. The design of this phone is UGLY. This phone is for someone who wants to spend 10 dollars on a phone and all they do is make phone calls. There are no features on this phone. I do not reccomend this phone to anyone unless they are basic. Well this is my review.

5. Many problems with the KX1

This is my third cell phone, but the one with the most problems. Yes it has more features, but it has lots of problems too. The thing I hate the most is how stupid it is about the vibration. Pressign the side button while the clam shell is closed switches the vibrator on and off. But this happens accidentally and frequently when the phone is in my pocket. It buzzes. I think it is a call. The I look only to see that the mode has switched. I can't even get it to stay on one mode or the other. I really have come to hate this problem.
Second it makes stupid loud sounds in your ear when you are trying to make a call. If buzzing is on it buzzes in your ear which is really stupid.

This is the best phone I have had so far by far. It easlly fits into my pocket when I am on the go. The only thing I have found wrong is sometimes after using it for an hour or so of talking it gets warm. But don't all?!

8. terrible sound quality

I bought this phone becouse it was the smallest tri mode phone with external LCD Verizon currently offers. At first KX1v SoHo seemed like a solid compact basic tri mode phone, I was looking for, but when phone arrived and I made the first call after the activation, I realized that the sound quality on this one was the worst I've ever heard. The phone is made in Mexico by former Qualcomm Wireless division acquired by Kyocera in 2001. I am using cell phones for many years and I had quite a few of them (including Qualcomm phones) and the Kyocera's sound quality is the worst I've ever experienced. While people can hear me fine, I can barely recognize my friends' voices on my end. Voices sound as if they were coming out of a tin can and often get garbled. And all this when the phone shows excellent signal strength. It's not a defective phone, I've got four KX1v SoHo phones for my family plan and all of them have the same problem or should I say a design flaw. It's not the phone's speaker problem either since the sound quality doesn't improve when I am using a pretty high end headset with it.
While the phone looks small, it's pretty thick which makes it quite difficult to keep in your pocket, also its antenna sticks far out and is likely to get caught in something and break. It's pretty narrow and it can probably explain it's tiny navigation buttons. I think it's pointless to discuss the phones extra features when it cannot perform basic operation the phones are made for, but I'll give it one star for the tip calculator. I am sending all four of them back.

10. Good but heats up quickly

I bought this phone last month because I like its style .but this phone has very little battery life and heats up very early just after talking continuosly for 20 to 25 minutes. And moreover you have to charge the phone every day otherwise you are stuck with low battery. Rest of the features are good in the phone except that it is not having a camera..but you can buy a camera if you luv photography..Nice phone but not many wallpapers and ringtones. So appearance wise it is good but if you want above features then this is not your choice.
