Don't Bother

1.7 out of 10

Ok, bottom line, don't buy this phone. Yes it's cheap, and yes, its durable, but spend the extra ten or twenty bucks to get a half decent phone. The texting isnt worth it, u can type and send a whole message and it will be on the second word, and even with full signal sometimes it wouldnt send the text messages. The call quality is horrible, no camera, outer screen, and going through ur contacts is just worthless, i would suggest buying like the wildcard or the x-tc, way better phones.

durability

inexpensive
no camera

no outer screen

very slow

freezes up

inaccurate typing

bad call quality

Virgin about to implode?

17 Dec 2008 chefJ

3.7 out of 10

I updated from a K7 to a Marbl (just wanting something to work and battery life on the k7 was now minimal).

Did want to transfer my contact info from one phone to the other.

However Virgin has disabled the USB port on the Marbl and this is not possible.

THe Implosion is now on the lack of customer service the really obtuse phone sytem (they changed themes from the audially grating Simone to Alex (SMART Alec?). but options are not available - I found the easiest way to get to a live operator is have my dog bark in the background and it finally goes to an operator!

The web site only offers ways to buy extra's (I guess that is good marketing) rather than service.
