Jabra BT150 Review

Functionality:

In order to connect the headset with the phone you should activate the pairing mode, which can be achieved, when the device is active, by simultaneously pressing and holding down the answer/end button and the volume up button until the LED indicator starts to show a solid blue light. After that, the following is a standard procedure and the code, you will be prompted for, is “0000”.

By pressing particular buttons you can activate some functions of the device, but they depend on the capabilities of your phone. You can answer / end calls, reject calls and you can use last number redial or voice dialing.


Performance:

Besides the attractive outward appearance, a headset should present itself well in communication. When you use BT150 to talk, you can hear the other side of the line hollow and unclear and sometimes this can be the reason that you don not understand at all what is said. We have the same situation on the other side of the line where the voices are hollow and sometimes unclear too.

Just to check the range of the good quality connection that you can count on, during a phone call, we did a test and the device showed the result of 17.7m and this is a slightly better result than Nokia BH-301, which is in the same class.

According to the official specifications of the manufacturer, you should be able to use Jabra BT150 up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 110 hours of standby time. We tested the device by means of a continuous phone call and sound volume set on maximum – after the test it stood up to 6 hours and 10 minutes. This is a good result and we are happy that the real results are better than the official ones. This is a slightly better achievement than Nokia BH-301, which stood up to 5 hours and 40 minutes and it is positioned in the same class.
