Is this AT&T’s Samsung A627? This article contains unofficial information.

The recently leaked photo of the UTStarcom Knick is more valuable than it seems at a first sight. It shows not only the Knick, but also another yet unannounced QWERTY slider with AT&T branding. It resembles the i620, with landscape display, large circular D-pad and QWERTY when opened, so could it be the rumored Samsung SGH-A627?

We are still unsure, but it seems that unlike the European model, this one won’t run on Windows Mobile OS. Both this live photo and the rendering from a customer survey in May show what looks to be the software of a non-smart Samsung phone, instead of WM OS. Specifications include 1.3MP camera, GPS Navigation and video streaming.

Neither Samsung nor AT&T has announced the phone.

I doubt it, because from the picture, it does not look like the model M has Windows Mobile, which was one of the main features of the Pantech Duo

I like the idea of a BlackJack look-alike but with a sliding feature to reveal the keyboard. Nice.
